I just get anxious than to be pro-active whenever someone would say that time is running out for me. Then I cram. And when I fall short, I lose myself. Hashtag self-harm.

Hi everyone! Donations for Jess are now up and running here.

As many of you know, my good friend Jess has had a lot of financial trouble due to her poor health. Several ongoing illnesses ( allergies, asthma, recurring bronchitis, several illnesses in high-school that were incredibly severe, and ultimately chronic fatigue syndrome) have caused her significant problems over the years, including having to drop out of college and preventing her from getting a job. Nearly her entire adult life has been plagued with these illnesses, she hasn’t been able to live a ‘normal’ life. 

As Megan summarised in a post a few weeks ago:

“Jessica and her mother have tried to be strong, for years now. But without help, their strength is dwindling and their hope for a future is fading. Jessica is only in her 20s and is already having to consider the end of her life. An end where everything is stripped away from her, an end that has forced her to consider suicide.
